Avalara Hires IT Channel Leader and Entrepreneur as Western Regional Sales Manager

Harnessing Russ Graf’s 25 years of IT, business, and cloud computing expertise to maximize the Avalara partner and customer experience
 

Bainbridge Island, WA — January 20, 2010 — Avalara, the leading provider of web-based sales tax automation solutions for businesses of all sizes, today announced the hiring of Russ Graf, a sales and business development leader in the IT, enterprise resource planning, and cloud computing space.

“As Avalara’s dominance in the SaaS transactional tax space is becoming even more pronounced,” explained Patrick Falle, Avalara’s vice president of sales, “having Russ Graf join the team brings a new wealth of experience. Russ has been directly involved in over 1,000 implementations of Sage Software’s ERP solutions, as well as numerous other enterprise resource planning opportunities. Prior to joining Avalara, Russ Graf was the co-founder of two nationally recognized software firms – Effective Systems Consulting and ProSoft Technologies – providing enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management solutions to customers across North America. Graf has also served as vice president of business development for TrueCloud, a cloud services integrator, and as a senior account executive role at Flypaper Studio, a Phoenix-based software start-up company.
