Seamless integration, which means there is no change to your existing workflow.  The Macola ES - AvaTax Connector runs behind the scenes, dropping accurate rates into your invoice for a correct calculation every time.  Service activation takes minutes, and minimal end user training is required.  Your data and accounting system integrity are never at risk: AvaTax Connector populates sales and use tax information which is then incorporated into your ERP internal process.
Tax Schedule - Configure one or more Tax Schedules that start with AVA for maximum flexibility. This allows you to use multiple GL Accounts for reporting and segmentation purposes. Avalara maintains all rate and jurisdiction changes, ensuring full statutory compliance. Address Verification - U.S. Postal Service CASS certification and validation of the street address. ZIP PLUS 4 determines the exact jurisdiction in which tax is to be calculated, rather than choosing between up to the five different jurisdictions that can apply when using only a five digit ZIP code with automatic address verification. The Macola ES AvaTax Connector provides address verification at the Customer Card and Address screens, as well as at Order Entry. Sales Order Processing - The Macola ES AvaTax Connector considers each of the line items, the product taxability and the customer exceptions. It calculates local taxes, maximum taxes, minimum taxes, tax-holidays and split-taxes -- and gives you the most accurate sales tax calculation available in the market today. Users can click the Get Tax button at Order Entry to display the details. Invoice History - The Macola ES AvaTax Connector allows you to view full details about how tax was applied to each line item. Simply drill into the Billing section of the Order History View and display the tax results.
