Epicor Tax Connect, is a module available for Epicor Vantage and Epicor Vista and connects directly to Epicor Tax Connect providing an OnDemand, fully-integrated sales tax management solution. Epicor Tax Connect, eliminates the need for researching, creating, and maintaining sales tax schedules, jurisdictions, and product taxability rules. Epicor Tax Connect provides detailed reports that parallel the sales tax requirements and statutes providing simple data reconciliation.  Epicor Tax Connect builds on the functionality within your Epicor Vantage/Vista ERP system and provides the flexibility to re-distribute valuable internal resources on revenue generating activities within your business.

Epicor Tax Connect Configuration - Epicor Tax Connect, powered by AvaTax is a module that is available directly from Epicor (www.epicor.com) as a standard module within the Vantage/Vista system. Once purchased and activated within your Vantage/Vista system, you simply validate addresses (customer and ship to), eliminate the tax regions, and enable the Tax Connect module. Address Validation Utility - ZIP PLUS 4 - PLUS 4 determines the exact jurisdiction in which tax is to be calculated, rather than choosing between up to the five different jurisdictions that can apply when using only a five digit ZIP code with automatic address verification. Bad addresses as a result of incorrect data entry are no longer an issue ensuring every order arrives to your customers correctly the first time. Sales Order Processing - Epicor Tax Connect considers each line item, the product taxability and the customer exceptions. It calculates state sales tax, local taxes, maximum taxes, minimum taxes, tax-holidays and split-taxes - and stores all of this information for reporting purposes within your AvaTax account online for easy, secure access anytime, anywhere. Tax Detail Results - Drill down to view the jurisdiction level breakout on Sales Orders and Sales Order Invoices within your Epicor Vantage/Vista system. Alternatively, you can drill down to the jurisdiction and invoice detail levels within your AvaTax sales tax liability reports from within your AvaTax account.
