MTD Filer is a free Excel Add-in for UK MTD submissions. It is for single VAT number use on Microsoft Windows 10 and Excel 2010 upwards. It will not work on Apple systems or Microsoft 365 online. Please be aware because of HMRC API requirements, you will need intermediate Excel knowledge and access to change your IT security settings. If you struggle to instal and use within an hour or so, please seek outside professional MTD help.
As MTD Filer is free, Avalara does not offer online or phone support. But Avalara does monitor for HMRC changes, and will make available updates in case of new issues.
