School supplies and clothes are among items eligible for an upcoming Arkansas sales tax holiday.
The state’s first sales tax holiday of its kind will offer relief to back-to-school shoppers hitting the stores the first weekend in August.
The two-day event, during which state and local sales tax will not be collected on the sale of school supplies and clothing and footwear valued at less than $100, among other items, will begin at 12:01 a.m. Aug. 6 and end at 11:59 p.m. Aug. 7. —Courier News
