Louisiana: Tax-free Jazz
- Jan 12, 2012 | Will Frei

The Louisiana Department of Revenue issued a bulletin describing tax exemptions for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which became effective October 1, 2011.
The exemptions include the sale of tangible personal property at the Festival, admission charges to the Festival, outside gate admissions to the Festival, and parking fees associated with the Festival.
Sales tax rates, rules, and regulations change frequently. Although we hope you'll find this information helpful, this blog is for informational purposes only and does not provide legal or tax advice.
