Ragland, Alabama Sales Tax Rate Changes


The Alabama Department of Revenue announced that, effective March 1, 2012, the town of Ragland will increase its sales and use tax rates.

The general sales tax rate will increase from 2 percent to 4 percent. The same rate increase will apply to the following:

  • Admissions to places of amusement and entertainment
  • Retail Selling price of food for human consumption
