California Local Sales Tax Rate Increases

The California Board of Equalization reports the following voter-approved local sales and use tax  increases, effective April 1, 2012.

  • Fairfax, Marin County 8.000% to 8.500%
  • Palm Springs, Riverside County 7.750% to 8.750%
  • Oakdale, Stanislaus County 7.735% to 7.875%
  • Vallejo, Solano County 7.735% to 8.375%
  • Willits, Mendocino County 7.750% to 7.875%
  • Point Arena, Mendocino County 7.750% to 7.875%
  • Fort Bragg, Mendocino County 7.750% to 7.875%
  • Ukiah, Mendocino County 7.750% to 7.875%
  • Mendocino County, unincorporated 7.250% to 7.375%
