Arizona TPT Change In Queen Creek

In an informational notice for June 2012, the city of Queen Creek, Arizona notes:

"On February 1st, 2012, the Mayor and the Council of the Town of Queen Creek passed Resolution 896-12. Resolution 896-12 relates to the transaction privilege tax; adds clarification to Ordinance 230-02 which increased the additional tax rate for the Hotel/Motel classification from 1% to 3%.

This correction affects the Hotel/Motel classification (QC 003) making the rate three percent (3%) and is effective immediately.”
