Caddo Parish Louisiana Sales Tax Rate Changes July 2012

Effective July 1, 2012, Caddo Parish, Louisiana announces the following sales tax rate changes as well as a new taxation district. North Caddo Hospital District has been created, adding a 1.0% local sales tax rate to the following jurisdictions:

  • Vivian – increased 1.0% to 5.35%
  • Oil City - increased 1.0% to 5.35%
  • Mooringsport - increased 1.0% to 5.35%
  • Rodessa - increased 1.0% to 5.35%
  • Ida - increased 1.0% to 6.35%
  • North Caddo Hospital District – new district with a sales tax rate of 5.35%

The state of Louisiana imposes an additional 4.00% sales tax rate on top of the local rate.
