Rhode Island passed a bill (H 7157) that exempts animal feed used ". . . for certain animals in the production of food for human consumption" from the state gross receipts tax.
The bill exempts ". . . livestock and poultry of the kinds of products of which ordinarily constitute food for human consumption . . . ."
