Colorado Springs Construction Sales Tax Class

Colorado Springs, Colorado is offering a “…free sales and use tax class for the construction industry that is designed for contractors that have projects within the city limits.”

City staff will provide instruction on “… who is responsible for sales/use tax on materials purchased, how the City treats projects for tax-exempt organizations, and the construction monitoring process.” Examples of potential sales/use tax liabilities will be used to help answer questions. Information on available resources will be given for future questions.

Sign up for the August 14 (Tuesday) 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. class by calling 385-5903. Space is limited.

Class will be at the Colorado Springs City Hall on 107 N. Nevada. Park in the city garage at N. Nevada and E. Kiowa Street. Parking will be validated for attendees.
