  • Aug 14, 2012 | Susan McLain

The New Jersey Division of Taxation has recertified its “…compliance with the provisions of the [Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement] SSUTA.”

New Jersey has been a full member of the Streamlined Sales Tax organization since October 2005.

New Jersey added the sourcing of prepaid wireless calling services and prepaid call services with the “…option of the location associated with the mobile telephone number for prepaid wireless calling service,” to the certificate of compliance.

The updated taxability matrix includes information on treatment of computer software maintenance contracts.
