Wickenburg Arizona Threshold Change

Effective September 1, 2012, Wickenburg, Arizona has modified the sales tax threshold and applicable sales tax rate for retail sales.

Currently, the Wickenburg sales tax threshold is $10,000 per item. The sales tax applicable to the first $10,000 is the regular TPT tax of 2.2%; the reduced rate of 1.19% is applied to all amounts over $10,000.

As of September 1st, the sales tax threshold is reduced to $5,000 and the sales tax rate for any single item over $5,000 is 1.69% for the total sales price of the item. The sales tax rate for any single item costing less than $5,000 is the regular TPT rate of 2.2%.
