New Rate for Richland Parish, Louisiana


 New Sales Tax Rate for Rayville, Louisiana.

There is a rate decrease of one percent planned for Richland Parish, Louisiana, in the northeast corner of the state. Effective March 1, 2013, Rayville will have a new City/Town sales tax rate of 0.5%.

The current Rayville City/Town rate of 1.50% remains in effect through February 28, 2013.

The new combined local rate, effective March 1, 2013, will be 4.50%.

Sales made before March 1, 2013, should be taxed at the old combined rate for Richland Parish and Rayville, which is 5.5%.

Sales made on and after March 1, 2013, should be taxed at the new combined rate for Richland Parish and Rayville, which is 4.5%.
