 Minnesota: Local Sales Tax Rate Changes Announced for April 2013.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue has announced a number of local sales and use tax rate changes, effective April 1, 2013:

Governor Mark Dayton (D) began 2013 with a campaign to reduce the state sales tax rate and broaden the tax to include many services. Earlier this month, he abandoned the idea of taxing more services, citing concerns that businesses would leave the state.
