Missouri: Green Sales Tax Holiday, April 2013

 Missouri Show-Me-Green Sales Tax Holiday, April 2013.

The Missouri Department of Revenue has announced the dates for the annual "Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday." It will take place April 19 through April 25, 2013. Missouri is one of more than a dozen states to offer a sales tax holiday in 2013.

During the tax holiday, "sales of qualifying Energy Star certified new appliance will be exempt from state sales tax." Local jurisdictions may participate and exempt qualifying products from local sales tax, or not. The Missouri DOR has published a map of participating locations.
