Oklahoma Sales Tax Rate Changes, July 2013


 Several local sales tax rate changes will take effect in Oklahoma, July 2013.

Oklahoma localities have been in a fickle mood this year. Since the beginning of the year, there have been fourteen local tax rate changes. Effective July 1, 2013, there will be eleven more.

So far, Woodward (7788) is the only county to enact a rate change this summer. It is increasing its sales and use tax by .5%, from 0.825% to 1.325%.

The following cities will raise their sales and use tax rate, effective July 1, 2013:

Stroud 4118 1% 4% 8.5%
Stroud 1920 1% 4% 8.5%

The city of Foster (2504) will impose a new sales tax of 4%.

The city of Tushka (0318) will impose a new use tax of 3.5%.
