South Dakota Sales Tax Rate Change, July 2013


 Take note: two South Dakota municipalities are adding a local sales tax in July 2103.

Two municipalities in South Dakota will impose a new general sales and use tax, effective July 2013.

Both Monroe (code 244-2) and Stratford (code 340-2) are set to impose a new sales and use tax of 2%. This is in addition to the state sales tax, which is 4%.
