 Sales tax rate change for Pelham, Alabama, September 1, 2013.

The City of Pelham, Alabama, which is located about 20 miles south of Birmingham, now has a new sales and use tax rate.

Effective September 1, 2013, the rate increased by 1%. The old rate was 3%. The new rate is 4%.

Sales, use, rental and lodgings taxes for the City of Pelham should be remitted online, through the Alabama Department of Revenue's online filing system.
