A sales and use tax rate change has been announced for Taylor, Alabama.
Effective October 1, 2013, the general rate will increase 1%, to 4%.
Also impacted are the rates for "admissions to places of amusement and entertainment" and for the "retail selling price of food for human consumption sold through vending machines." Both are increasing 1%, to 4%.
Questions about sales and use tax in the Town of Taylor, Alabama should be directed to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Or automate and stop worrying about sales tax rate changes.
