Colorado DOR Encourages Online Filing

Colorado DOR: "Don't be like Ned Ludd. File online."

The Colorado Department of Revenue recently posted a reminder to “sales tax filers who still use paper forms....” Life would be simpler if they filed online. Another way to read this would be, “Quit acting like a Luddite, would you?”

Colorado DOR reminds that their online system “contains all the rates for each state-collected jurisdiction in which a business is located.” Payments can be made by e-checks or credit cards or Electronic Funds Tranfers. In short, paper filers could “say goodbye to the paper hassle.”

There’s another way to say goodbye to the hassle of sales tax filing, and it works in all states: an automated sales tax solution.

Take some advice from Colorado’s revenue department: simplify sales tax.
