Two local sales and use tax rate changes have been Department of Taxation website. Both changes take effect January 1, 2014.

The sales and use tax rate for Franklin County will increase from 7.0% to 7.5%.

The sales and use tax rate for Putnam County will decrease from 7.25% to 7.0%.
