Ketchum, Idaho Sales Tax Change, January 2014

Ketchum, Idaho, will no longer administer its own sales and use taxes.

In addition to the 6% Idaho state sales tax rate, Ketchum, Idaho, has a local option sales tax. Since it took effect in 1985, the local option sales tax has been administered by the town of Ketchum.

However, the Idaho State Tax Commission will “administer and enforce the tax for filing periods beginning January 1, 2014. The December 2013 tax return will be the last return filed with the City of Ketchum clerk’s office.”

An automated sales tax solution makes managing sales tax changes simple.
