North Dakota Sales Tax Rate Changes, April 2014


 Carrington, North Dakota, gets a sales tax rate increase, April 2014

The North Dakota Office of the State Tax Commissioner has announced several upcoming local option tax changes, effective April 1, 2014.

In the city of Carrington, city sales, use and gross receipts tax will increase by 1%, to 2%.

In the city of Ray, city sales, use and gross receipts tax will increase by 0.5%, to 2%.

The local tax rate for the city of Cavalier will remain 2% because the city will continue the 1% local tax dedicated to hospital and economic development.
