Texas Sales Tax Rate Changes, July 2014

 July 2014 sales tax rate changes announced for Texas.

Is it already time to talk about July sales tax rate changes? It seems so, as more and more state departments of revenue are announcing them. The latest to do so is Texas.

City rate changes

  • Bartlett, Bell County, is increasing sales and use tax by 0.5%, to 8.25%.
  • Bartlett, Williamson County, is increasing sales and use tax by 1%, to 8.25%.
  • New Berlin, Guadelupe County, is increasing sales and use tax by 0.25%, to 8.0%.

Special Purpose District (SPD) rate changes

  • Bartlett Municipal Development District, located in the Bartlett of Williamson County, is imposing a local sales and use tax of 0.5%.
