Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax Changes

  • Jul 25, 2014 | Gail Cole

 Peoria, Arizona.

A couple of Arizona transaction privilege tax rate changes have been announced.

City of Peoria: The tax rate for retail sales of food for home consumption decreased from 1.8% to 1.6%, effective July 1, 2014.

In addition, the Arizona Transaction Privilege and Other Tax Rate Table has been updated for September, 2014. It reflects the fact that Campe Verde is eliminating all pre-existing tax rates and crosses out the tax on construction contracts (pre July 2004) privilege contracts (pre August 2012 and pre March 2000). There are no other changes on the rate table.
