Enterprise Alabama Sales Tax Rate Increase

The City Council of City of Enterprise, Alabama, has voted unanimously to increase the rate of sales tax by 0.5%. Effective September 1, 2014, the rate will be 9%.

According to the Enterprise Ledger, the additional revenue will help fund capital plans in Enterprise City Schools, as well as the city police and fire departments.
