Kentucky: Zero Returns Must Be Filed

 Zero returns must be filed in Kentucky.

Until last month, the Kentucky Department of Revenue allowed businesses with sales and use tax zero returns to file via the telephone through the department’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR) program. No longer.

Beginning July 1, 2014, zero returns in Kentucky must be filed either by paper or online via KY E-Tax.
