Connecticut to Change Filing Due Dates
- Aug 14, 2014 | Gail Cole

There will soon be new due dates for paying certain taxes and filing associated returns in Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS), the due date for filing sales and use tax returns and making payments is changing from the last day of the month following the end of the reporting period to the 20th day of the month following the end of the reporting period.
The new filing due dates apply not just to sales and use tax, but to room occupancy tax and the prepaid wireless E911 fee.
New electronic filing requirements were instituted by DRS in January 2014. The filing/payment due date change is set to take effect in January 2015. Additional information.
