Flagstaff, Arizona, Tax Rate Changes

 New and different tax rates coming to Flagstaff.

The City of Flagstaff, Arizona, has announced several upcoming tax rate changes.

Effective August 14, 2014:

  • The additional 2% tax on hotels, restaurants and bars is eliminated.
  • The privilege tax on hotels and the privilege tax on restaurants and bars will increase to 3.721%.

These amendments are set to terminate on November 4, 2024. Any extension beyond that time is subject to voter approval.

Effective October 1, 2014:

  • A 1% use tax will be imposed.
