 New York: Cents-Per-Gallon sales tax rate on fuel stays the same in September.

The New York State Department of Finance and Taxation has issued an important notice regarding the Adjustment of the State and Local Cents-Per-Gallon Rates of Sales and Use Taxes on Certain Motor Fuel and Diesel Motor Fuel.

The news is: effective September 1, 2014, there is no adjustment to state or local cents-per-gallon sales tax rates on qualified fuel.
