North Dakota to Launch New E-Filing System
- Aug 29, 2014 | Gail Cole

On September 9, 2014, the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commission (ND Tax) will launch a new Taxpayer Access Point (TAP).
Currently, ND Tax operates an electronic filing system, WebFile, which is available to filers of sales and use tax returns and income tax withholding returns. WebFile will no longer be available as of September 9. Current WebFile users are invited to pre-register for the new system, TAP, before September 9.
North Dakota taxpayers who do not pre-register must sign up for access to TAP on or after September 9. Once a taxpayer receives an authorization code letter by mail from the Office of State Tax Commissioner, he or she will be able to log into TAP and access all accounts associated with his or her business. Additional information on converting from WebFile to Taxpayer Access Point is available at ND Tax.
