Georgia October 2014 Sales Tax Holiday

The Georgia sales tax holiday for Energy Star and WaterSense qualifying products begins one minute past midnight on October 3, 2014, and concludes at midnight, October 5. Qualifying items purchased for personal (noncommercial) use are exempt from sales tax during that time.
Energy Star products costing $1,500 or less:
- Air conditioners and ceiling fans
- Clothes washers and dishwashers
- Dehumidifiers
- Doors and windows
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Refrigerators
WaterSense products costing $1,500 or less:
- Bathroom sing faucets and accessories
- High-efficiency toilets and urinals
- Showerheads
- Weather- or sensor-based irrigation controllers
