Georgia Sales Tax Rate Changes, October 2014


 New sales tax rates take effect in Georgia, October 2014.

Last month, the Georgia Department of Revenue announced there would be no sales tax rate changes taking effect in Georgia on October 1, 2014. That has changed.

Effective October 1, 2014, the combined state and local sales tax rate for Greene County, Georgia will increase from 6% to 7%.
