  • Nov 6, 2014 | Gail Cole

 Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

A number of forms related to sales and use tax on imports of personal tangible property to Puerto Rico have been updated and now have new names, effective July 31, 2014. The new names should help clarify reporting for merchants and importers.

Form AS 2970.1 was previously named Declaration of Imports for Use. The revised name is Declaration of Imports.

Form AS 2915.1D was previously named Use Tax on Imports Monthly Returns. The revised name is Tax on Imports Monthly Return.
