Washington State Annexations, January 2015

The Washington State Department of Revenue has released a list of annexations to take effect January 1, 2015. Numerous Washington cities are increasing their boundaries, which could impact sales tax rates for businesses in annexed areas.

The following cities are annexing surrounding areas in the new year:

  • Battle Ground, Clark County
  • Bothell, Snohomish County
  • Centralia, Lewis County
  • College Place, Walla Walla County
  • Coulee City, Grant County
  • Ellensburg, Kittitas County
  • Everett, Snohomish County
  • Kalama, Cowlitz County
  • Kennewick, Benton County
  • Longview, Cowlitz County
  • Malden, Whitman County
  • Moses Lake, Grant County
  • Quincy, Grant County
  • Renton, King County
  • Wapato, Yakima County
  • Wenatchee, Chelan County
  • White Salmon, Klickitat County
