Alabama Sales Tax Administrative Changes, December 2014

Beginning December 1, 2014, the Alabama Department of Revenue will administer and collect sales and use tax and “any other additional taxes” for the City of Andalusia, Alabama. Returns for the period ending December 31, 2014, must be filed with the department by January 20, 2015. Additional information.

The Town of Sweet Water has discontinued services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue. Effective December 1, 2014, Revenue Discovery Systems is taking over the administration and collection of sales and use tax. Tax returns for the period ending November 30, 2014, must be filed with the Department of Revenue by December 22. Additional information.
