Nebraska Lodging Tax Rate Changes, January 2015


 Nebraska: Several counties increased their lodging tax rates, effective January 2015.

Last fall, the Nebraska Department of Revenue announced a couple of Nebraska January 2015 sales tax rate changes. Numerous additional county lodging tax rate changes have now been released.

Effective January 1, 2015, the following counties imposed a 4% county lodging tax:

  • Grant County

Effective January 1, 2015, the following counties increased their county lodging taxes from 2% to 4%:

  • Johnson County
  • Platte County
  • Sheridan County
