Washington State Tax Credits Expired, January 2015

Two Washington State high technology tax credits expired on January 1, 2015. These programs were open only to businesses conducting qualified research and development and/or pilot scale manufacturing in the following fields: advanced computing, advanced materials, biotechnology, electronic device technology, and environmental technology.
Expired tax credits:
- The High Technology B&O Tax Credit for qualified research and development (R&D) expenditures.
- The High Technology Sales and Use Tax Deferral on construction of eligible facilities and purchases of qualified machinery and equipment.
