Alabama Sales Tax Changes, April 2015

The Alabama Department of Revenue will commence administering and collecting sales, use, and other taxes for the City of Midway, Alabama.

This administrative change takes effect on April 1, 2015. Additional information is available through the department.

In addition, the county commission of Randolph County is now authorized to “levy additional sales and use taxes of up to one percent to be used for the construction, maintenance, or operation of licensed hospital facilities in Randolph County.” A majority of voters must approve such a tax increase.
