Texas Taxpayers to Be Refunded Overpaid Sales Tax

 Everyone in Elsa should get a piece of the sales tax reimbursement.

The people of Elsa, Texas Comptroller has confirmed it.

According to Interim City Manager Rene Rodriguez, “the majority of the overpaid sales taxes were paid on purchases made by the city. The rest were from trash and utility charges.”

With approximately 5,660 people living in Elsa, each person will receive less than $10. It is unclear at this writing how they’ll be reimbursed, but they will be reimbursed. For the full story, see KRGV.com
