Cities grow and cities shrink, although the current trend in Washington State is growth. Changing boundaries can impact sales and use tax rates in annexed areas.

Effective April 1, 2015, the following cities will increase their boundaries:

  • Creston
  • Issaquah
  • Kalama
  • McCleary
  • Pasco
  • Richland
  • Yacolt
