Alabama Tax Rate Changes: Blasts from the Past


 Montgomery, Alabama.

Two Alabama local rate changes have been announced; they took place years ago.

The City of Montgomery has informed the Alabama Department of Revenue that the general lodgings tax rate increased from 8.5% to 10%, effective October 1, 2013.

The City of Moody has informed the Alabama Department of Revenue that the general lodgings tax rate increased from 2% to 6%, effective March 1, 2008.
