Arkansas Sales Tax Rate Changes, July 2015


 Local rates in Arkansas, July 2015.

Numerous local sales and use tax changes are scheduled to take effect in Arkansas, beginning July 1, 2015. Affected localities are listed below, with the July rates.

El Dorado, Union County: rate will decrease from 1.25% to 0.25%.

Manila, Mississippi County: rate will decrease from 1.75% to 1.25%.

Moorefield, Independence County: a new sales and use tax of 2% will be imposed.

Ouachita County: sales and use tax rate will increase from 2% to 3%.

The following municipalities – listed with new rates – are being annexed:

  • Fort Smith, Sebastian County: 2%
  • Green Forest, Carroll County: 2.25%
  • Vilonia, Faulkner County: 2.5%
