Illinois: Local Telecommunications Tax Rate Changes, July 2015

The Illinois Department of Revenue has announced the following local simplified municipal telecommunications tax rate changes, effective July 1, 2015.
The municipalities below are listed with the July combined state (7%) and local telecommunications tax rates:
- Algonquin, Kane County: increasing from 10.75% to 13%
- Algonquin, McHenry County: increasing from 10.75% to 13%
- Arcola, Douglas County: increasing from 7% to 12%
- Pontiac, Livingston County: increasing from 7.5% to 13%
- Ridge Farm, Vermillion County: increasing from 75 to 12%
