 Two North Dakota cities will impose new lodgings tax beginning July 1, 2015.

Update, 7.9.2015: The North Dakota Tax Commission has released updated information about location option taxes. 

Two local tax jurisdictions in North Dakota will impose new taxes beginning July 1, 2015.

Both Linton and Washburn will levy a 2% City Lodging tax on gross receipts from leasing or renting hotel, motel or tourist court accommodations for periods of less than 30 consecutive days.
