Oklahoma Sales Tax Rate Changes, July 2015


 Local sales and use tax rate changes coming to Oklahoma, July 2015.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission has announced numerous local sales, use and lodging tax changes, effective July 1, 2015.

Sales and use tax

  • Barnsdall: increasing from 3% to 4%
  • Clinton: increasing from 4% to 4.5% (COPO 2011 and 7511)
  • Colbert: increasing from 3% to 4%
  • Commerce: increasing from 3% to 4%
  • Okmulgee: new 4% sales and use tax
  • Vici: increasing from 3% to 4%
  • Cotton County: increasing from 1.25% to 2%
  • Custer County: decreasing from 1% to 0.5%

Sales tax

  • Rattan: increasing from 2% to 3.5%
  • Castle: increasing from 2% to 3%

Use tax

  • Foster: new 4% use tax
  • Rattan: new 3.5% use tax

Lodging tax

  • Grove: new 5% lodging tax
