Tennessee Local Sales Tax Rate Changes, July 2015

The local sales and use tax rate in Henry County, Tennessee, will increase from 2.25% to 2.75%, effective July 1, 2015.

Local option taxes in Henry County apply to the first $1,600 of the sale price of any one item of tangible personal property (unless otherwise exempt). There is also a local tax cap of $44 for any single article of tangible personal property or any taxable service.

Any single item of tangible personal property costing between $1,600.01 and $3,200 is subject to a single article tax rate of $2.75%. Additional information.
