  • Jun 22, 2015 | Gail Cole

Home of the Green Bay Packers.

The 0.5% football stadium district tax in Brown County, Wisconsin, will expire on September 30, 2015. As a result, effective October 1, 2015, the sales and use tax rate for Brown County will drop to 5%.

There was talk of imposing a special sales tax after the expiration of the stadium district tax, but the idea was rejected.

Additional information is available in this tax bulletin, and in these brackets for collecting Wisconsin sales or use tax on retail sales.
